Responsible for researching Syriac and Greek texts dating from Constantine to the rise of Islam (4th-7th centuries) as part of a British Academy funded project led by Professor Sir Fergus Millar.

Responsible for teaching first-year tutorials for course entitled `Gods, Men and Power: An Introduction to Ancient History from Homer to Mohammed'. Assign and mark essays, conduct office hours, write final evaluations, meet individually with students who request extra help.
